Advancing Digital Inclusion for Roma Youth
DigiFast project demonstrates that community-based, culturally responsive digital education can meaningfully strengthen the digital skills, confidence, and participation of Roma youth. By combining visual, practical, and interactive learning methods with mentorship and locally adapted content, DigiFast removed key barriers and empowered more than 100 young people across four countries.
Why Policy Matters
Digital exclusion is not just a technical issue - it is a structural barrier that limits education, employment, and social participation. The lessons and evidence gathered through DigiFast highlight the need for flexible learning models that actively include communities who are often underserved by mainstream digital education initiatives.
